Role Overview
The Preschool English Teacher will be responsible for providing a high-quality, developmentally appropriate English education for preschool students. The teacher will create a nurturing, positive learning environment and implement a curriculum that meets the emotional, physical, cognitive, and social needs of both the individual child and the group.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children in the program.
- Teach English language skills including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Develop culturally appropriate programs and activities.
- Establish routines and provide positive guidance.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable.
- Communicate with parents and members of the community.
Requirements for the Role
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Preschool English Teacher.
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and instructional skills.
- Deep understanding of developmental and educational needs of children aged 2-5.
- Ability to build rapport with children and parents.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
